Finally, here are the pictures of the RCC mural that I did with the Mayor's Mural Crew in my fourth summer working with Gregg Bernstein and the crew, good luck with school! If you like it you should call the Mayor's office and tell them! Your feedback keeps programs like the Mayor's Mural Crew alive and able to provide jobs in the summer and the after school program for kids in the city of Boston going.
The mural depicts the land that RCC sits on as it transitioned from an apple orchard with the indigenous Roxbury Russet to the T and industrial buildings and to the college it is today. The large figure is Ed "Pop" Cooper who worked to better the Roxbury community and started many of the community gardens. Check out www.coopergarden.org.
